About Jo
Jo is an experienced and trusted clinical nutritionist and herbalist offering the highest standard of care
Uncover the root cause of your symptoms and restore health and balance to your body. I will teach and enable you to embrace a holistic view of your wellness with a comprehensive healing experience. Healing is much more than changing one aspect of how we live.
I offer practical solutions to create a sustainable and maintainable path to wellness.
I am driven by a deep motivation to bring kids back to nature and teach families about the healing power of food and herbs.
I am very passionate about women’s health and hormones. I feel strongly that the research around perimenopause and menopause is lacking. As a result, many women are not getting the support they need during this time. Herbs, nutrition and self care, can be incredibly effective at supporting you and your body as you transition into the next stage of life.
I strongly believe that as menstruating women, we should eat for our cycle. I host workshops on how to eat during the changes in hormones throughout your cycle. Connecting with the rhythm and changing energy of our cycle can be very empowering. The female cycle is a beautiful component of who we are as women, which sustains and brings new life to the world.
As Jo is a clinical nutritionist you may be entitled to a private health rebate for your appointments with Jo.

Spirituality and Traditional Naturopathic Practices
I am a very spiritual person and like to treat the whole person, including mind, body and spirit. I love to offer meditations or recommend other therapies during the healing process.
Often, there will be emotional aspect to the healing journey. Every person is an individual and has a unique journey to wellness. We live in a world that is so fast paced and often we are distracted and disillusioned.
When we experience pain or suffering, we often feel our body is working against us. However the human body is amazing and it is always working for us. I believe that every journey, good or bad, is designed to bring us back to our true nature, perfect and balanced.
Naturopathic medicine is rooted in traditional beliefs that have held strong for thousands of years. I love using traditional methods of healing practices such as the following:
- Mindfulness and meditation (mindful nutrition)
- Poultices and castor oil packs
- Herbal creams and lotions
- Hydrotherapy
- Lymphatic therapies such as sauna or rebound trampolines
- Iridology
