Our bodies responds to what we say, how we think, the judgments we hold and the food we eat and drink. This has been my personal experience over the years.  As I work on improving my mindset, my physical health and relationship with myself are transforming into a more loving and healthy one. “

Debbie takes a wholistic approach in her treatment protocols, recognising the importance of good quality sleep, adequate sunshine spending time actively out-doors and practicing mindfulness. Returning to nature and tuning into our body, listening to what they are trying to tell us is a journey in itself. Debbie knows first hand how challenging it can be sometimes.

In order to heal the body we need to come from a place of self-love and self-care. This will reflect our food and drink choices and lifestyle habits.

We all need support to encourage us to make these necessary changes. I will support you unconditionally all the way.

We all need to make these changes ourselves for our health because we deserve to feel well and full of vitality.

I am here to support you through your journey to lasting health.

Dietary change

Dietary adjustments can be a significant part of becoming healthy. There are many different eating styles that one can try and lets face it, we may have had a crack at least one of them, but may have never succeeded.

Making these changes with my help,  adds support, accountability and encouragement.

Recently I have developed an interest in various styles of fasting, as well as the carnivore diet. This has stemmed from a long time  interest in the Ketogenic diet. As someone who has an autoimmune condition, I have personally experienced the improvements that come from reducing or eliminating carbohydrates, grains and sugar from my diet.

I still understand the benefits of a Mediterranean – low inflammatory diet and a balanced whole food diet and can support you to make any dietary changes that your body needs.  It’s a tailored approach

Some health concerns that can be improved by a low carb diet include the following

Fasting

Fasting is a great way to reset the body and allow it time to heal while it is not busy digesting. When we fast for longer than 8 hours, the body produces ketones. Ketones are a source of energy for the body and the brain. Fasting accelerates autophagy, which is where the body cleans out old and dying cells, so it can regenerate new healthier cells. This process begins 17-48 hours after eating and this is where the real healing happens. Regular fasting can result in improvements with;
